With so many challenges, especially for remote communities, to access a lot of needed training we have developed our own training entity which provides training, certification and learning opportunities for Fire Departments, especially serving Indigenous Communities.
We also provide some useful links before for those who may find it useful.

MORE COURSES INCLUSING OURS BEING ADDED IN 2025
It is often challenging for departments to access quality instruction, training, certification and especially standardized with 'seals' but the skill sets are still required. So IFSD have now developed their own accreditation of training courses so that fire departments, especially remote and often smaller with less resources, can access the needed training.

The G.O.A.L. (Global Operators And Leaders) by The Emergency Response Team Search and Rescue (ERTSAR) at the Provincial Emergency Operations Centre (PEOC) featured a First Nations host of speakers and some of the ERTSAR Fire Rescue activities, Tactical Medicine, Rescue Task Force and other exciting developments. We are proud that this was attended by our Provincial and First Nations Partners and friends! Big thank you to The Fire Marshal Public Safety Council's Executive Director, Jamie Kovacs, for all your support and Fire Prevention materials!
